Handcrafted Paper
Where art meets paper, one impression at a time
In a small studio where time moves differently, we create paper goods by hand. Each piece begins as blank stock, selected for its texture and character. We work with letterpress machines, hand-set type, and custom plates made from our original designs.
The process is deliberate. Ink is mixed to match precise specifications. Paper is hand-fed into presses that have been restored and maintained for decades. Embossing dies are cut by hand. Each impression requires attention.
We produce small batches of greeting cards, custom stationery, and printed compositions. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is mass-produced. The result reflects the method: pieces that feel substantial, considered, and quietly refined.

Bespoke letterpress printing for personal correspondence and professional applications.
ExploreHandcrafted Cards
Our greeting cards are printed one at a time using letterpress techniques. Each card receives individual attention during printing, ensuring consistent ink coverage and precise registration. We use heavy card stock that feels substantial in hand.
The designs are original, created specifically for letterpress printing. They take advantage of the process: the debossed impression, the tactile quality of raised ink, the way light interacts with embossed surfaces.
We print in limited color palettes, often using a single ink color with embossing or foil accents. The restraint allows the quality of materials and craftsmanship to speak clearly.

Techniques & Materials
Letterpress
Traditional letterpress printing using metal and wood type, custom plates, and careful ink mixing. Each impression is made by hand.
Embossing
Custom dies are cut for each design. The embossing process creates raised or debossed surfaces that add dimension and texture.
Ink & Color
We mix custom ink colors to match specific requirements. The ink is formulated for letterpress printing and carefully applied.
Paper Selection
Papers are chosen for their texture, weight, and compatibility with letterpress printing. We work with cotton, linen, and specialty stocks.
The Atelier
Our studio is a working space where every element has been chosen for function and aesthetics. The presses are maintained and operated with care. Tools are organized. The environment supports focused work.
We welcome visits by appointment. Seeing the process helps explain why handcrafted pieces feel different from mass-produced alternatives. The machinery, the materials, the pace of work all contribute to the final result.

Every project begins with material selection. We source papers from mills that specialize in letterpress-compatible stocks. Texture, weight, color, and how paper accepts ink are all considered.
Our relationships with suppliers ensure access to limited-run and specialty papers. We maintain samples of available stocks for client review during consultation.
Typography
Careful selection and pairing of typefaces for optimal readability and aesthetic harmony.
Structure
Thoughtful layout and composition that guides the eye and supports the content.
Precision
Exact registration, consistent ink coverage, and meticulous attention to detail.
Quality Standards
Each piece is inspected for registration accuracy, ink consistency, and overall craftsmanship. Pieces that do not meet our standards are set aside. This rigorous quality control ensures every item we produce reflects our commitment to excellence.
